A Decade
I'm sure you are being reminded each day that we are closing in on a decade. So MUCH has happened these past 10 years. I was just reading an alphabetical list of 50 things that have shaped and changed our lives over the past 10 years. Here are a few that I found interesting:
1. Connectivity
2. DVR's
3. Information Overload (I think this goes hand in hand w/ connectivity!)
4. iPods (and everything Apple)
5. Wikipedia (a personal favorite)
Those are just to name a few...
I was thinking back to 2000, I was a freshman in highschool. These past 10 years for me are full of wonderful memories and many blessings. I learned to drive, found my soulmate, went on many Mission trips and witnessed many children come to know the Lord, graduated highschool, became engaged and married my soulmate, proudly became a military wife, learned to live on my own, welcomed Taylor home from 2 tours in Iraq, lived in 3 different states, and ofcourse most recently becoming pregnant. I've seen ALOT of change these past 10 years and I am most thankful for the experiences I've had and the wonderful people I've been able to meet. The Lord has so richly blessed Taylor and I!
Here's to the next 10 years!! Happy New Year's!!

Around town...
We had to go rescue my car yesterday, which was still on base. The main road through base was still bad. They hadn't bothered even plowing it yet. Oh yeah, this was 2:00 in the afternoon.
Still on base.
This is a 3 lane road outside out complex...well the road is under about 5 inches of packed ice. They finally started plowing and salting late this afternoon.Saturday, December 19, 2009

Small update...
After a slow but steady start, Alden is finally over 8lbs and 23inches long!!! He is also 2 months as of yesterday. Dad sent me this cute picture yesterday and I just had to post it. I look at this picture and all I can see is my brother. I think he looks so much like Alexander here, maybe it's his little expression. Tuesday, December 1, 2009
